 We're
extremely satisfied with our investment in POS Master Point Of Sale System.
Since we installed POS Master, we've become increasingly aware of the
great benefits POS Master provides to our business.
I love the
incredible flexibility with reports, the inactive to active stock files,
the ease of searching products by PDE number, APN number or description
and the user-friendly stock card….no more looking through the
entire stock card to locate a product. It's fantastic…….
POS Master is the
first computer Wendy has ever used. She doesn't have a computer at home
and keeps saying how easy it is to use and how it's got all these
wonderful features that she uses to run the back office, handle orders,
new stock items, credits, clubs and so on. I'm pleased that she likes it.
It makes my job easier.
But I wasn't always so happy! The weeks leading up to the system going
live at 9am on the 22'nd October 2001 were horrendous. The closer we got,
the more
apprehensive I became. Thoughts of 'What if it doesn't do what they say
it will do,' were a part of my daily thinking. I had grave concerns about
the changeover.But to my great relief nothing went wrong. The tables
turned almost 180 degrees when we went live.
POS Masters' unique
facilities took our stock count or lack thereof into account and within a
week the automatic ordering system had everything under control and our
stock levels accurate. We installed your new Pocket POS last week and my
interim comments are that its flexibility and versatility make stock take
and ordering a dream. I recommend POS Master without hesitation, to anyone
wanting to run their business more simply easily and profitably.

 What a fabulous system. We
didn't have any problems with the changeover. The only people who had problems
were TJ and Andrew who got stuck in the delightful state of Western Australia.
Real tough problem.
It is quick,
efficient and so easy to use and maintain with a superb back up service.
The NTA staff can solve any problem and being thousands of miles from Melbourne is never a
problem.
The best business
decision we have ever made, was to upgrade, in the chaos of September
11th and the Ansett collapse, to the new version of POS Master.
The Club facility is
excellent from which you can specifically target your Department
purchases and email or post Direct Marketing materials.The Accounts
system is great as it connects directly to the Point of Sale. You can
freeze accounts when necessary. Doing an Audit Trail is a breeze. Lay by
and Hire of equipment are done at the Point of Sale.
We can charge to an
account directly from our FRED dispensing system for Nursing Homes, which
speeds up the whole process.
The new Salon
Appointment system is superb. It has solved many disasters over
appointment times - the length of an appointment plus double and over
lapping appointments, which have been a nightmare up to now.
The GST Report for
end of the month KPI's is simple. It is great how the Sales summary
report produces the Average Sale with and without prescriptions.
I completely
recommend the new POS Master system with the hugest confidence. One would
be mad not to embrace it and move into the future.

 I operate a busy pharmacy
with a good mix of front of shop and dispensary. We stock a large number
of agency cosmetics and perfumery. We service some local schools, a
nursing home and run several hundred accounts. To operate effectively, a
POS system is mandatory.
However until May
this year I resisted installing one. I had investigated many of the
systems currently available but I wasn't convinced that they were
adequate, sufficiently user friendly or were too inflexible.
I wanted a system
that was able to meet our current requirements, simple to use but allowed
us to implement more sophisticated functions as we found the need.
In POS MASTER, I believe we have found our ideal system. POS MASTER uses
the very latest technology both in hardware and software and yet
maintains a more than competitive price.
The ability to scan
incoming goods, change stock on hand and prices from the portable RF
Pocket POS is a great feature. The system interfaces well with our
Winifred/Fred dispensing.
The support staffs
at NTA Computers are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you
ring support, you actually speak to someone who is directly involved in
the programming and can give you immediate assistance. If necessary they
can dial in and show you how to do any function.
Our staffs were a
little apprehensive when informed of the decision to implement POS but
even after the first day on going "live" were delighted with
the ease of operation.The reporting and analysis functions of POS MASTER
have already impacted on our profitability. We are more aware of cost and
retail prices and can react quickly to changes.
There are many more
functions available on POS MASTER that we look forward to using. We have
found that we can use the "companion sale" function as a
warning to staff to "check with the pharmacist before
proceeding" which appears on screen when selling S3 such as Ventolin
or Mersyndol.
I recommend that you
look at POS MASTER before you implement or change your POS system.
